Titanic Men's Pocket Watch

The Edwardian era, the time in which Titanic sailed, was a time of great technological advancement. But some old-style traditions, like pocket watches, persisted. Gentlemen kept a pocket watch tucked into a vest or pants pocket, attached with a fob (chain). Pocket watches, ranging from the ornate gold to the workaday steel, have been recovered from the wrecksite of the Titanic, showing how essential this timepiece was to everyday life on board the Ship of Dreams for men of every social class.
